The transparent glass of the Tube de Iamos is blown in China by Orion's partners of choice, first French brand of portable vaporizer.
The glass is annealed borosilicate glass with a thickness of 1mm and is resistant to small drops on parquet or other not-too-hard surfaces.
The 7 glass spikes (the recesses in the tube) allow to lengthen the passage of the steam and thus to refresh it more efficiently than without it without increasing the length of the tube.
They add 2,8 cm of length.
To clean the Dynavap transparent smoked glass Typhoon sceptre tube, just dip it in 99.9% ISO alcohol, then in Limpuro to make it shine if you don't have any granny techniques.
