SSV with SGG kit = your transfer wand (where you put your plants) doesn't snap into the ceramic cover (the heater).
This requires both hands for each inhalation, or you can use the hands-free kit (supplied).

This kit makes vaporization more even and airy, as you can direct the stream of hot air during inhalation by making small rotations.
It also allows you to enjoy the flavors for longer, as you can't leave the plants or resins in front of the heater.

The Ground Glass and Standard Glass outlets are available as accessories on our website, and allow you to change the air/vapor ratio.

How the Silver Surfer vaporizer works:

1. Inhaled air passes through the hole in the ceramic cover.
2. The ceramic element heats the air to the desired temperature as it passes through.
3. The heated air then passes from the ceramic cover to the glass rod containing your herbs/tobacco.
   The air inhaled is hot enough to vaporize your favorite tobacco.
   You can control the air temperature by inhaling more or less quickly. The slower you inhale, the more time the air has to heat up on contact with the heater, and the bigger the latte you'll get. Conversely, the harder you inhale, the smaller the latte will be.
   If inhaling slowly doesn't heat up the air enough to vaporize your material, simply turn up the temperature of the SSV slightly.
4. Beware, as the SSV is designed to vaporize concentrates and diffuse essential oils, it may exceed the combustion temperature of the plants.
   We therefore advise you to start by using it at low temperatures and gradually increasing the temperature.
   To know when your session is over, it's quite simple: your plants should be dark brown and no longer produce any visible vapor at all.
5. To ensure that the flavours last, we recommend that you take care to cool your plants between laths, in particular by removing them from in front of the heat source.

How to vaporize - Silver Surfer Vaporizer instructions for use

There are two ways to do it:

1. Turn on the Silver Surfer Vaporizer -SSV-, then turn the knob to full power for about 2-3 minutes. Finally, turn the knob to the left to about 1/3 power.
2. OR switch the unit on, turn the knob to your preferred position (you'll find this position after a few sessions of use) and wait 3-5 minutes for your unit to reach the chosen temperature.

Most aromatherapy and phytotherapy plants require the SSV to be set to around 2/3 power.

However, the setting varies according to your inhalation strength and room temperature, so you'll notice that between outdoor use at 0 degrees and indoor use at 20°C, the ceramic piece doesn't heat up in the same way.

How to use the SSV oil diffuser

Please note: LCV would like to draw your attention to the fact that, despite what some competitor sites may lead you to believe, the oil diffuser is not supplied as standard with the SSV! It is an accessory sold separately.

The AromaTop SSV is very easy to use with your Silver Surfer vaporizer. Place the AromaTop on top of the SSV with the fragrance of your choice, so that the bowl lies flat. When using the AromaTop, turn the unit to about ¼ power, as the essential oil diffuser retains heat well. If you wish to vaporize simply turn the SSV to your precise setting and wait around 30-60 seconds before vaporizing. When you're done, turn the SSV back to ¼ power to start diffusing the oils contained in the AromaTop again.
