Released in June 2017, made in China the Fenix Mini is a fierce competitor to Storz&Bickel's Crafty+ vaporizer.
Although less powerful than the Crafty+, it benefits from more economical heating and a very well-realized convection process.

The FENIX MINI is simply amazing!

The Fenix Mini vaporizer is the little brother of the Fenix vaporizer, offering 100% convection heating with a stainless steel bowl.
This heating system produces a very good, long-lasting aroma, relatively large slats and warm vapor. It also maximizes battery life through efficient extraction of active ingredients.
The size of its bowl (approx. 0.15g) and the convection heating process make the Fenix Mini an economical vaporizer, as it vaporizes your plants slowly and gently.
Its stainless steel bowl allows you to draw relatively thick slats for a convection vaporizer, without having to suck very hard.

The Fenix Mini vaporizer's OLED display shows the set and actual temperature, as well as the number of seconds remaining with automatic switch-off.
Admittedly not as consistent as a Crafty or Mighty in maintaining temperature during inhalation, the Fenix Mini still guarantees a temperature close to that displayed, like most good vaporizers and high-end vaporizers on the market.

As a nice touch, a red then green LED discreetly indicates when the set temperature has been reached, with a gentle flicker as the glass vapor passes through.

Instructions for use of the Fenix Mini Design Bois vaporizer from Weecke:

The chamber/bowl is reached by simply unclipping the mouthpiece.

Fill the bowl without compressing it for optimum results. This allows the hot air to pass through evenly and mix your plants easily during the session.

Once the bowl is full and closed:

• 5 successive presses turn on the Fenix Mini vaporizer and start heating. It begins a 4-minute cycle before switching off automatically
• The OLED display shows the current temperature, and a red LED gently lights up the mouthpiece to indicate heating
• When the temperature is reached, the display becomes fixed and the LED turns green
• You can then inhale
• Remember, as with any vaporizer, the gentler you inhale, the bigger the latte you get; the harder you inhale, the smaller the latte you get, because the air hasn't had time to warm up, so it cools down the bowl
• Your Fenix Mini vaporizer stays on for 4 minutes before switching off, and a second counter counts down on the OLED display
• Your battery level and set temperature are also displayed on the OLED screen
• To restart your vaporizer, just press 5 times in succession

To know when your session is over, your plants no longer emit vapor or taste at the maximum temperature, i.e. 221°C on this vaporizer. As a general rule, it takes two to three sessions at maximum temperature to finish a dose, i.e. 8 to 12 minutes, making the Fenix Mini an efficient vaporizer in terms of extraction.

With its excellent finish and handling, the Fenix Mini is a real success and a vaporizer offering excellent value for money.
Its size, autonomy and adjustable temperature make it a serious competitor to the Crafty.
Like Fenix, its convection process blew us away...almost more than a Crafty. Terpenes and aromas are very well rendered.
