The DotLeaf 1.5 is the second version of this portable vaporizer manufactured by DotMod (spring 2021).

The DotLeaf 1.5 with its four pre-set temperatures is very easy to use, it offers a fairly dense and warm vapor in the mouth.

Delivered in its transport box with two different tips (14 and 18 mm) to connect it to a bong / water pipe.

Redesigned following feedback from users the DotLeaf 1.5 brings some improvements and new colors: black and gray

• A better temperature control to avoid sub-combustion as much as possible.
• An engraved instruction manual under the side panel for a more intuitive use.
• A new PBT chamber for a better heat resistance.
• A new seal for the mouthpiece.

With its 4 preset temperatures and its boost mode +15°C the DotLeaf 1.5 vaporizes very well plants and resins.

Big advantage its bowl and its battery are removable what promises a long life to this vaporizer.

A removable bowl allows you to have doses ready in advance or a bowl dedicated by flavor or plants / resins for example.

Its USC-C plug allows you to use it while charging (cable included).

The Dotleaf 1.5 is primarily intended for the lover of dense and hot lattes - sensitive throats abstain.

Good flavor thanks to the ceramic chamber.

A boost mode allows you to go up 15 °C more and this whatever the chosen temperature - very practical on a bong.

Technical characteristics of DotLeaf 1.5 :

• Ceramic heating chamber for a good flavor.
• Heat up in about 30 seconds - fast heating.
• Boost mode =+15°C in a few seconds.
• Removable battery 18650 mAh - autonomy about: 7 doses.
• Charging time about 2 hours depending on the capacity of your battery.
• Usable while charging by USB-C.
• 4 pre-set temperatures:
• anti-overheating mode, if your DotLeaf reaches 75°C it shuts down to prevent overheating.
• Temperature control button inside the shell
• One external button to control almost everything.
• Conduction heating that allows for a MTL (mouth to lung) draw, i.e. with the mouth rather than full lungs.

If you want to get a fresher vape or a tighter draw, a very useful accessory is the Jet-Pack, the different tips replace the original one and thus modify the steam rendering.

Our opinion after test and review of the DotLeaf 1.5 :

An improved and redesigned version that gives an even more advanced vaporizer for beginners and experts who are looking for an effective, easy to use vaporizer.

With its small size and design it looks like a Mod electronic cigarette and will be very discreet.

For us the DotLeaf V1.5 is primarily aimed at fans of big puffs and hot steam.
Perfect on a bong it may prove a little hot for sensitive throats and used dry.

We advise you to equip yourself with a bubbler or a hydratube in order to obtain a fresher and less aggressive steam for your throat.

DotLeaf 1.5 maintenance techniques, how to properly clean its vaporization chamber:

• Clean thoroughly (no residue or fingerprints) the gold-plated connectors on the tank and in the box before each use;
• Let the tank cool down completely before using it again;
• If you change the tank, you must reset the box before using the tank, each time you change the tank. To do this, remove and replace the battery and then switch the box off and on again (press the fire button 5 times quickly). Be careful, removing the battery alone does not reset the box.
