No electricity with the Tester, a simple lighter with a torch or a storm flame is enough.

The size of its bowl allows to fill approximately 0,1 grams of plants or resin.

The Tester being all glass, allows one of the best flavor rendering of the market, the glass being totally neutral in terms of flavor or toxin emission.

A regular cleaning allows a better rendering of flavors.

Instructions for use of the tester Katalyzer.

Filling :

• Crumble your plants or resins.
• Fill the inhalation tube on the bowl side up to 1 to 1.5 cm maximum.
• Do not pack.
• Close with the heating head.
• No grid is necessary to use the Tester to get the best flavor.

In order to avoid that fine vegetable particles arrive to the mouth, think of making a first very soft aspiration and to aspirate gently thereafter, you should not have any more particles during the following inhalations.

Several types of heating are possible according to your expectations:

For the best flavor rendition please prefer the gentle heating.

Always keep in mind that with a vaporizer the softer you inhale the hotter the air and therefore the more important the inhalation. The harder you inhale, the less the cold air that enters the vaporizer has the opportunity to heat up. The puff will therefore be smaller and softer.

Quick warm-up:

• Bring The Tester to your mouth and start inhaling while heating the head.
• With your flame, moving back and forth along the heating head, make sure the flame goes behind the hole.
• The longer you hold the flame just behind and close to the hole, the hotter the air will be and the faster the vaporization will occur.
  Vapor will begin to form quickly upon inhalation.
• Stop heating when you want and then take a few puffs if you want and as long as the glass is hot enough.
• Repeat the heating process as often as necessary.
  Be careful, as soon as you see your plants turn dark brown you are at the maximum temperature, you must stop heating.
• If you vaporize by putting the flame in front of the hole directly, the heating will be really fast with risk of sub-combustion.

Intermediate heating:

• With a double flame lighter preferably or single torch.
• Heat the heating head for 20 sec by making short back and forth movements and by rotating the Tester between your fingers.
• Bring the Tester to your mouth and begin to inhale.
  Then inhale as needed while moving back and forth along the heating head and making sure the flame is in front of the hole.
  The longer you hold the flame behind and close to the hole the hotter the air will be and the faster the vaporization.
• Vapor will begin to form.
• Stop heating when you want and then take a few puffs if you want and as long as the glass is hot enough.
• Repeat the heating process as often as necessary.
• Be careful, as soon as you see your plants turn dark brown you are at the maximum temperature, you must stop heating.

Soft and powerful heating - the most efficient for a very homogeneous and strong extraction.

• With a triple flame lighter or a torch is mandatory.
• Heat the heating head for 20 sec by making short back and forth movements and rotating the Tester between your fingers.
• Then heat for 2 to 3 sec the part of the glass that is around your plants while continuing to rotate the Tester between your fingers.
• Take the Tester to your mouth and start inhaling as softly as possible for a big puff, or hard to be lower in temperature.
• You can repeat this operation as much as you want.
• Be careful, as soon as you see your plants turn dark brown you are at the maximum temperature, you must stop heating.

Small advanced technique:

1. For an even more homogeneous and strong heating, after heating the heating head, you can heat the glass at the level of the plants for a few seconds (2 to 3).
2. You can heat during the inhalation but be aware that this will increase the heating speed by conduction if it is against the wall of the bowl, and will increase the heating by convection if it is via the hole of the heating head
3. Take your time to get to know the Tester. Your goal: avoid any black color in your plants.
